Effective October 11, 2026. Emberglass Apothecary is operated by Brandon Mysliwiec.

Information we collect

We collect the email address and password you provide to create an account, verification records, newsletter and blog preferences, contact messages, and the information needed to process your orders, such as your name, shipping address, order contents, and payment status. Passwords are stored as hashes. We do not store your complete payment card number.

How we use information

We use information to verify and secure accounts, fulfill orders, respond to enquiries, prevent abuse, administer the first-order offer, and send the marketing you choose. Account activation and order messages are essential service communications. Newsletter and blog subscriptions are optional and independently adjustable after signup.

Shared operations and service providers

Emberglass and brandonmysliwiec.com use shared business systems for inventory, orders, customer records, shipping, and support. Emberglass credentials and subscription preferences are maintained separately. Our hosting and email providers process website and message data; Stripe processes payments; Shippo and the selected carrier process shipping information. These providers receive information needed to deliver their services.

Cookies and browser storage

We use an essential, secure session cookie for account and checkout functions. Browser storage remembers your Emberglass basket and whether you dismissed the newsletter invitation. This storefront does not add advertising or analytics tracking scripts.

Retention, security, and your choices

We retain information as needed to provide services, maintain transaction and tax records, resolve disputes, and protect the business. Expiring, single-use verification and password-reset tokens are stored as hashes. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Use your account to update newsletter and blog preferences. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. We may verify your identity and retain records where required for transactions or law. We do not sell your personal information.

Children and updates

The store is intended for adults. Do not create an account if you are under 18. We may update this policy; the effective date identifies the current version. Contact us through our contact page with privacy questions.
